We stand for the Spartan helmet Today we want to tell you why we take great pride in Spartans. Spartans were dedicated to war, known for their legendary physical and mental strength. Like America, Sparta was strong and it's men gladly laid down their lives to defend her. Lyca once said:
"A city is well-fortified which has a wall of men instead of brick." King Leonidas inspired his men to stand strong and be fearless in the face of the Persian opposition. He is famously remembered for "Molon Labe" meaning "Come and take them", a classical expression of defiance. Today "Molon Labe" expresses an army or nation's determination not to surrender. The Spartans inspired our generals and politicians to express their determination not to surrender. Thank you our reader, for standing with us as proud Americans, determined never to surrender!
